Day 972 (Y2D242) +154 BMT

Dear mommy,

We continue to grow every day, experiencing new adventures with passion and abandon.  We've definitely picked up your appreciation for the visual arts, as we love color and the ability to manipulate color with our hands.  We also love music and we think someday we will really enjoy playing with our mandolin and bass.  We know that daddy will probably dragon dad us into piano and string instruments but we really do reflect our mom so much.  We have really been enjoying the videos of us when we were babies and we often want to see pictures of you.  The thing is that, we don't see much of you since you're always taking the video!  (lazy daddy, or is it because he had that crappy phone?).  But we really enjoying hearing your voice and are excited when we get to see pictures of you.  We had a great day which was started off with a greeting from daddy and a triple cereal mix of Oh's, Panda Bites and Granola.  Daddy then went off to go give some platelets which scored us some new headbands.  V took us to the park and we had a fun day full of coloring and stamping using our new easter egg stamps that mema got us.  Daddy came back home to give us a bubble bath where we made bubble beards.  We then read new books that daddy got from the library including our new favorite "My Grandma".  We know our grandmas as mema and nai nai.

Mommy, we know that you are not doing very well and that makes us feel sad.  We are hopeful that you feel better soon.  Daddy comes home and he seems downtrodden - completely without control over the situation.  Mema too.  We are hopeful for a miracle to fight off the infection and for your bone marrow to recover.  We know you can fight.  You are the bravest, strongest person we know.  Even Mr T doesn't have more heart than you.  We want to grow up with you.  You can do it mommy!

We heard that our good friend M is on her way back here!  We are excited to see her!

Mommy, we are saddened to hear about our good friend Duke.  We loved him because he was the sweetest dog.  Our hearts go out to Uncle Tom and Aunt Deanne and we look forward to cheering them up with our antics.

We love you Duke.  2001-2014

Mommy, we just wanted to share our day with you.  We hope tomorrow brings another day that helps us all move in the right direction.  We love you,  Twinks n Dinks.

Here is our day:

  2. 4 year old Tate said a sweet prayer for Kim unexpectedly yesterday. The girls are beautiful and your devotion for them couldn't be more evident. Much love, the Carswell family xx
