Day 809 (Y2D79)

Monday was a big day for Mommy.

Her and Nai Nai woke up while we were still sleeping and left for the outpatient surgery center to get Mom's central line placed and her arm catheter removed. All went well for this procedure. The NP was very capable and did an excellent job!

Next Daddy joined Mommy and Nai Nai at the Cancer Center where Mom learned about her medicines and she got attached to her suitcase of hydrating saline for the week.

For the last appointment of the day, Mom's measurements got verified for radiation treatment. Mom got a little wiggy while standing still for alignments and fainted and vomited a couple times. Dad and Nai Nai said Mom went completely limp. Luckily, the radiation harness and the nurses caught Mommy and woke her back up from the dream she was having when she blacked out.
Nai Nai came home early to watch us while Daddy helped Mom finish up her appointments.

Daddy pushed Mommy in a wheel chair, made her dinner and helped her shower. Nai Nai learned to drive our big mini-van to and from the hospital. These are acts of true love.

Here's our day:
