Daddy spent a longer morning with us. When Daddy came in our nursery, he discovered that Twinks' diaper had been removed. Dad is bringing the duct tape now!
Dad always wants to snuggle us and sometimes we give in. Most of the time we snuggle with our blankets and stuffed animals because they will do whatever we ask of them. This is true friendship.
Today Mema and Daddy accompanied Mom to 3 radiation sessions. All of the sessions went well and Mommy has not yet felt any side effects! Mommy has now received 11 of the 13 Grays. The radiation has already reduced the number of blasts (cancer cells) in her peripheral blood! Tomorrow Mom will complete her last two radiation sessions and prepare to be admitted on Saturday to the hospital for step 2 (high dose chemotherapy).
For dessert after dinner, we had ice cream comes for the first time. We LOVE them. We didn't think there was any way to improve on sweet, sweet ice cream, but a cone really elevates an ice cream snack to a gourmet treat! Before bed, we hopped like kangaroos among our colorful rug squares. We can jump in a forward direction now!
