Mema took Aunt Jessie to her 3rd neupogen shot. Aunt Jessie is a real trooper. Her bones are aching but she is faithfully going back every day for another shot in order to make stem cells for Mommy. After today she will have 2-3 more shots. Thank you Aunt Jessie for coming to Mommy's rescue!
Mom and Aunt Jessie visited Mom in the hospital. Mom had a day of rest without treaents. Tomorrow she will have a high dose of cytoxan. This will be her last chemotherapy infusion before the transplant. Mom spent the day visiting with family, hydrating and working on a book about herself for us to read one day. Mom got moved to her own room today which is very nice. They even have a stationary bike in her new room for exercise!
Later Mema and Jessie played with us in the back yard with our buckets while Daddy did a training run in preparation for his half marathon next weekend.
We had a lot of fun throwing Aunt Jessie's water bottle around! We are getting very good at putting on our boots. Chef Mema and Aunt Jessie made us a gourmet dinner. We loved the portobello mushrooms. We ate very well today thanks to our family.
