Day 822 (Y2D92) +4BMT

--- Aside ---
So for those of you who think that I (B) have actually been writing the blog for the past two
years, I feel like a flattered mastermind thief who is sipping on a malvasia in an Italian Villa.  Alas I have to come clean and the joyful entertainment that you may have received is all momma's work (K).  But given the circumstances I think I'm back to filling in for a bit.
--- End aside ---

Today we woke up to Mema because daddy and gugu went to run the Nike Women's Half Marathon.  Originally mommy was supposed to run, but even though she really wanted to, her doctor's wouldn't let her.  But daddy and Gugu dutifully woke up at 4am to go run the hills of San Francisco.  Along the way, daddy made sure to get her a nice shirt, some chocolate at mile 11, the Tiffany's finisher's necklace at the end, as well as picture of him in the arms of a tuxedo'd fireman.  Daddy was lucky to see Aunt Tor and Uncle No as well as Aunt MF and Uncle W along the way to help him power through the hills and the end.
We went to the park and played until Buo Buo came over to spend some time with us.  We had lunch and then Daddy put us down for our nap which we decided was not needed.  So we stayed up and played, took of our diapers and made daddy wash all of our bedding again.  After "quiet time" we spent time with uncle Snitch and his son M.  We got to play outside watch some signing time and drink smoothies.  Dinks passed out on the couch for a little bit.

Daddy let us stay up a little later.  He must've thought that it might let us calm down a little bit more before we went to bed.  Little did he know that we play nice "twinks n dinks" until he leaves the room.  That's when we excel at taking our diapers off and running around.  Daddy came back in to wash our bedding again and this time he used duct tape and safety pins to keep our clothes together.  Oh daddy... you could've just asked us to keep our diapers on!

We had a great night and went to sleep because we were tired!

From our friends around the world:

  1. congrats on the half marathon!

the girls sound like they were a handful today--positively overflowing with excitement and energy. they want daddy to practice his laundry skills.
