Mom finished her last two rounds of radiation! Mema, Auntie Jber and Daddy were all there to celebrate this moment. Mom received a total of 13 Gray over this week. The side effects have not yet set in thankfully. This past Tuesday, Mom had 50% leukemic blasts in her peripheral blood. By this morning, the numbers were too low for detection! We were all very excited by this!
Mom and Auntie Jber wore their Stem Cell Sister outfits to the Cancer Center. Auntie Jber designed them herself. They got some smiles and long looks at the clinic especially when they performed their cheer! Tomorrow Mom will get admitted and she will begin high dose chemotherapy.
We had a great day with Daddy and V. V took us to a park that was further away and packed us a picnic lunch. Mema, Mom and Auntie Jber joined us for dinner. We sang them Twinkle Twinkle.
