Day 833 (Y2D103) +15BMT

It's Thursday and it is Halloween!

We have been practicing saying our 'trick-or-treats' and 'thank you' all week! We are ready for this! We played with Auntie Nee's and Auntie Ry's balloons in our color suits. V dressed us up in our color outfits and we took our costumes to the morning playground. We even helped Mema fix the sink in costume.

We are getting so good at using the potty! We can pull our own pull-up diapers down and we know when it is time. Mom can't believe her own eyes. V, Mema and Daddy have been a training force to reckon with!

Meanwhile Mema took Mom to a routine checkup where all of the nurses were dressed like pirates! Argh! All of Mom's numbers look superb (WBC 6.3, Hemoglobin 11.9 and Platelets 138)! Mom's liver functions are a bit elevated but the doctors will keep an eye on it. Mom did a final skin biopsy too today to help collect data for an AML research project.

V took us out for our first trick-or-treat experience! We loved it! Dad, the ghostbuster, Mom aka Hit Girl and Mema aka Gem joined us as we walked up to each house and politely asked for a treat. We loved picking out the different colors from our neighbor's offerings. At one house we had to sing for our candy and both of us, Dinks and Twinks bravely did!

At home we got to pick out one piece of candy and we even shared it with each other! It was so exciting to have people come ring our door and to pass out candy to them. We would say, 'Who is it?'

Before bed our Dear Daddy who donated 2 units of platelets this day helped us hang glow-in-the-dark stars in our rooms. He read us some of our favorite books. Right before bed we got to meet V's brother who we kept insisting was Dad's brother! We had a great day!

Here's our Halloween:
