We took a family road trip to see Auntie Sonia, Uncle Dave, Cleo and Deedles. V dressed us up so cute and packed us fun backpacks for the day. Mom and Dad tried sitting Dinks' carseat in the center of the van so she could see the horizon and she didn't get carsick! Everyone was so excited that Dinks could travel in comfort.
It was a beautiful day. V joined us for lunch and then met up with some of her au pair buddies in the area. We played with pugs and saw lots of cute dogs when we went for a long family walk. We picked fruits and tasted Sonia's gourmet meals. We went through over four outfit changes that by the time we left, we rode home in diapers and PJ tops!
We tried so many new things:
- popcorn
- jello gigglers
- first Pixar animation (lasted 15 minutes)
- ate gelato
- stood on a big step to wash our hands
