Day 859 (Y2D129) +41BMT

Tuesday was terrific.

Mom's appointment went well. Her WBCs are dropping as a side effect of the CMV medicine but she still has almost 6,000 for now. Later this week Mom will get a CMV level blood test back and hopefully we will see a downward trend. If not, Mom's CMV may be resistant to the medication she is on and she may have to switch to another protocol. Let's all hope for the numbers to go down.

We had a great day. Mema and Mommy left pretty early for her appointment so it was just Daddy and we little ladies in the morning. We ate some of Uncle Dave's Oh's for breakfast. Oh, they were tasty! Thanks Uncle Dave for not eating all of them. V took us to the park and made us a lovely lunch. We had a good 2.5 hour snooze and then played with play-doh. Daddy even played his cello today!

Mom and Dad went on a date/shopping adventure to Zara's in the city to get Dad a suit. Daddy is the world's faster shopper and in no time he found a snazzy, subtly vertically striped number that looked great on him. Mom and Dad walked around the Square and watched the ice skaters, marveled at the perfectly triangular holiday tree and got their wedding rings cleaned while Dad showed Mom his latest magic tricks. Dad couldn't resist the tasty hot dog stand they passed by right before leaving. Mom can't have street food for a while but she can imagine how good it tasted!

Dinks is starting to refer to herself as 'I' rather than 'you'. Twinks keeps getting taller it seems every second and can reach everything. We try to keep everyone on their toes. After dinner we danced with Mom to the Beatles. Mema gave us a bath and sang us her song about the lady with an alligator purse. Dinks wore V's boots backwards and walked around for a while awkwardly. After many layers of duct tape, socks and booger wash cloths, we were tucked into bed like 'taquitos' as V calls it.

Here's all of our days:
