Mom had a routine checkup and all of her numbers look great. It seems her eat-whatever-you-want-and-not-gain-weight metabolism is ending. Mom usually enjoys these weeks because you can eat completely guilt free! We hung out with Mom in the morning and then it was time to play with V!
We made crafts and played at the park. V always makes us tasty lunches and we actually decided to sleep during our nap today. When Mom came in to get us from our nap, we were both snuggling our favorite creatures and chatting like little teenagers.
Mom and Mema found a bay laurel and a lemongrass plant to add to their edible garden. Later in the evening, Mema and Mom took their long 3-miler at record pace to get some exercise, talk about growing up and pick up a watering can with measurement lines at their favorite downtown hardware store.
V made us nachos for the first time and we LOVED them! Mema gave us a gave us a bath and Daddy made us giggle with our socks before bedtime!
