Day 853 (Y2D123) +35BMT

Wednesday was rainy.

We stayed inside but had tons of fun playing with our new play-doh sets! Uncle Dave helped us open those stubborn caps. We love the miniature jars. Mom bought a second set of tools, so we don't even have to share! Sharing is hard and tiring sometimes for everyone but Mom and Dad say the world is a richer place if we share with others. We'll just have to take their word on this one for now.

Mema and Uncle Dave took Mom to her routine appointment. Her WBCs, RBCs and platelets are all within normal range! This is always a relief to hear. Mom's CMV counts in her blood have more than doubled in the past week as expected but this number should start to come down by next week as the anti-viral medicine kicks in. In 5 days, Mom's dairy restriction will be lifted. There are plans for celebratory thick grilled cheese sandwich and large bowl of ice cream on that day!

Uncle Dave hooked up the speakers to our TV. Mom popped in a few CDs. Twinks loves to dance to the Beatles and Dinks likes to sing along with ABCs.

Dad's been biking to work and around town while Gomer is in the shop. Poor Dad keeps getting caught in deluges. A few nights ago Dad came home bearing gifts of furry earmuffs. We love them. We wear them to bed, for meals and when we play.

After we went to bed, Daddy showed Uncle Dave his card tricks. Uncle Dave was very impressed with Dad's slight of hand. We want to be able to perform magic tricks and make people say 'Wow!'.

Here's our day:
