Day 842 (Y2D112) +24BMT

Saturday was superb!

It's been two weeks since Mom's transplant and thus far everything has been going so well! Mom had a routine appointment yesterday and all of her numbers look just great. Auntie Torrey kept Mommy company at the Cancer Center and then they took a long walk around the beautiful campus!

Mema and Daddy took us to the park in the morning. We also had fun playing closet hide n' seek as well as a game where we take everything out of our nursery (animals, blankets, etc.). During our 'nap' we climbed up our rocker couch and with our twin strength, determination and cooperation tipped it over with a big bang!

Everyone came running and luckily the only casualty was Dinks earned a little shiner on her eye. Now we no longer have a couch in our room but only our beds. The couch has been relegated outside with our picnic table and the rest of the outdoor furniture.

Mom and Dad got to visit the kitties and apply their flea medicines. Doleac and Mr. Wilson were very content living with their new friends Kathy and Tom!

At dinner Mema taught us more about Chanukah and we wanted to light all of the candles right away. We read some books before bath and then it was time to turn in after a long day of fun and family. Mema and Mom took an evening walk to the local Mexican market and got some jicima and hot salsas. Mom perhaps underestimated just how hot the habanero one was because poor Mema and Daddy were spiced out!

Here's our and Mom's day:

glad you girls didn't get too hurt when you toppled the rocking chair. hope your eye feels better, dinks! was that your subtle hint that the rocker no longer fit with the decor scheme?
