We spent most of our day eating soup, hydrating and watching our educational videos since we are both a little under the weather. V nurtured us with her homemade soups and tender hugs.
Mom had a routine check up. They drew her CMV levels to see if the medicines are taking effect yet but the results won't be in for a week. Her tacrolimus level came back elevated. Since this can be toxic, Mom will hold on this medicine for a few days and lay low at home until her Wednesday appointment.
Mom took Mema to get her last soup garden element: a kaffir lime tree. Mom picked up some fingerling potatoes seeds since Daddy loves those, some kohlrabi because they are interesting looking vegetables and some thyme.
Since they were in the neighborhood, Mom and Mema did their daily walk through Hakone Gardens. It was breathtaking.
