Today we think of Debbie, Ted, their family and the many friends that knew and loved Debbie since she will have her viewing today. Below is a great photo of Debbie in action transplanting one of the 1000+ trees on campus. Debbie, we all miss you dearly.
Today is our month birthday. We are 2 years and 4 months! V took us to the bookstore for story time and treated us smoothies and the adjacent cafe. We wore our new rainbow leg warmers!
Uncle Geeves put up a shelf for Mommy and built her the main bamboo structure for 2 pea trellises. He is very handy and patient. Mema, Mom and Uncle Geeves went on a 3-miler to downtown and enjoyed the relief from the rain.
We drew with chalk, splashed in puddles and got bucket ridesfrom Daddy and Uncle G. They spin us and pretended to drop us! It was a fun day!
After we went to bed, the last Chicago pizza was eaten and a documentary called Happy was watched by all. Happy claimed there are three components to being happy:
- continual mastering of a skill: that you enjoy doing just for fun
- having a strong community of family and friends around you
- helping others around you
Here's our day:
