It's Day 70 for Mom and she feels great! Dad is on vacation with us for the holidays. V is about to explore new destinations. We are sad that today is Mema's last full day with us! Mema, don't leave. We promise to eat all of our food and use the potty more often if you stay!
We saw the presents under the tree when we awoke but we didn't really understand exactly what was going on. Soon as we realized there were gifts for us inside the wrapped packages like garden gloves, sunglasses and many wonderful objects we began to unwrap more eagerly. We wore our rainbow dresses from Mema most of the day. We loved playing with our new toys. Thank you, Santa! We must have been good girls this past year!
V made the tastiest chicken tamales from scratch with salsa verde, crema and refried bean sprinkled with queso fresco. Mema made fresh matza ball soup. Everyone ate after we went to bed so we will have to sample these delectables tomorrow!
At bedtime, we picked out our socks for the night. Mom and Dad allow us 4 socks each since we like to wear a couple pairs on each foot or dress our animals in them. We said goodnight to Mema one last time and hopped into the monogrammed sleeping bags that she got just got us!
