Day 887 (Y2D157) +69BMT

It was a wonderful Christmas Eve Tuesday.

Mom's routine biweekly appointment went smoothly. All of her numbers look normal and she got the green light to stop the daily IV antivirals since her CMV is now undetectable! Merry early Christmas to you, Mom!

We played with V at the park in our kitty boots and before nap tried out our new dry erase boards from Mema. V made us a tasty lunch that we devoured.

While we napped, our caretakers started making their seafood feast! Mom helped V make ceviche while Mema made linguini and clam sauce. Daddy helped Mema make buttery shrimp scampi. We were all so full that we delayed the flaming bananas foster until Christmas Day.

At dinner, Dad read us The Night Before Christmas. We ate watermelons and chocolate trees for dessert. During bathtime, we played with our numbers and letters and snuggled and giggled with Daddy afterward. Dad read us our bedtime books while Mom outfitted us with our packaging tape belts. We seem to have run out of duct tape temporarily. We ran around our room and giggled for a bit and then fell fast asleep while visions of jelly beans danced in our heads.

After we went to bed, Mema, Mom and Dad watched Miracle on 34th Street together and sipped tea from Great Grandma Rita's Japanese tea set.

Here's our day:
