We made the best of it by building towers together. We revisited the concrete slide playground one more time. We love running around that place with its big, twisting slide and sand pits!
Mom, Jess and Mema tried a new nap strategy. They delayed our nap an hour and got us to play and run around outside. Instead of us taking 2 hours to fall asleep, it took only a half an hour! We slept until dinner time! Before dinner we decorated gingerbread star cookies. We couldn't resist bit off the tips of the stars and eating the icing.
We practiced our shapes dance before bath. Daddy is very silly at bedtime and he makes is giggle! We will really miss Maxwell. He is such a nice cousin
