Day 863 (Y2D133) +45BMT

We had a grand Saturday.

Mema made us some tasty eggs with mushrooms for breakfast! at breakfast, Dinks showed us that she can almost count to 10 in Mandarin! Daddy took us to the park while Mom and Mema walked their 3-mile loop to downtown. Mommy really enjoys the conversations she has with Mema on their walks. These times will be missed when Mema leaves after Christmas. For now, Mom will just enjoy every moment of Mema-wonderfulness!

When we sleep, we like to layer on socks. During our nap we busted into the closet, emptied several clothing drawers and took out lots of books. Twinks put on three pairs of pants and Rilka added on two skirts to her outfit. Mom ordered a new closet lock.

Mema made us some tasty spaghetti, ham and cheese for dinner. Mom tried to disguise zucchini by cutting it julienne and calling it fries, but we were not hoodwinked. Mema sang us the Chanukah prayer and lit four candles. We kept trying to blow out the candles even though Mom said they are meant to stay lit and burn all the way down. For dessert, Mom and Mema gave us red devil cake cupcakes. We were so happy we did a happy cupcake dance.

Mom found some alphabet magnet letters from Auntie Liz and put them on the refrigerator. We had so much the fun making up words and finding certain letters. Thanks Auntie Liz!

During bath, Mom let us see ourselves in her iPhone. we thought it was so funny to pop on and off her screen. This caused a lot of splashes and giggles, giggles and even more giggles. After Mema read us some books and Mom put on our duct tape belts, we were ready for bed. Daddy made it home from the game just in time to tuck us in.
