Mema took Mom to her routine biweekly appointment and everything looks great! Her hemoglobin is in the high 14s which means her new stem cell sister marrow is working perfectly!
We had a great day playing with blocks, at our neighborhood park and sculpting play-doh. At dinner we perused our Duke calendar which has photographs of one of our favorite dog friends. Mema gave us two flavors of ice cream for dessert!
At bedtime we read some of our favorite books about hunting for bears, losing all of your buttons and counting with tasty pastries and hot dogs. We know some of the books so well that we help Mom and Dad complete their sentences. Dinks can read certain books from cover to cover!
Dad helped us invent a new game. We call it 'big bellies boom'. It's quite simple. First, stuff your favorite blanket under your shirt. Second, run into someone else who also has a big, blanket belly! We had fun booming into Daddy and each other! We fell asleep very quickly since we didn't rest during our nap.
All in all, we had a wonderful day:
