Day 872 (Y2D142) +54BMT

Monday made us very merry.

We were sad to say goodbye to Cousin Max & Aunt Jessie. They left early in the morning before we awoke. We had so much fun with our Max. He was so patient with our twin antics (fighting, pushing, giggling, etc.). He tried to teach us how to share and make 'good choices' every day. I guess that is what he has learned from his teachers in school.

We look forward to going to school someday after it is safer for Mommy to be exposed to more sicknesses. Until then, we will enjoy every day at our 'art/home/playground school' with V!

Mema took Mom to her routine appointment. All of Mom's numbers look great. She didn't even need potassium today. She will know her CMV level later in the week. Mom donated many tubes to research today. She said yes to every study that was offered to her because she wants to help advance AML and BMT research. She will take IV anti-viral medication for a few more weeks to suppress the CMV in her bloodstream and hopefully not hear a peep from it again.

Mom feels very lucky with her wellness status every day. There are other patients who are constantly nauseas and cannot eat or who get hospitalized regularly for fevers. Mom hopes her luck continues but she will take it one day at a time and be thankful for what is going well.

We didn't nap at all today. We spent our 'quiet time' running around our room, making the door stop go 'zing!' and making each other alternately giggle and cry. We are toddler twins after all.

V helped us make some holiday cards for family. We got to use glue. After dinner, we zipped ourselves, our blankets and books inside our pop-up tents and watched our preschool prep videos. We also built colorful towers. Daddy gave us a warm bath and read us our books. We were ready to turn in after a long day of learning, laughing and love.

Mommy had a visit from Aunt Cathy in the evening. Cathy brought Mom the cutest little fruits we've ever seen from Chili. Cathy caught Mom up on her recent world travels. They are excitedly discussed up and coming The Rose Bowl since Dad booked his tickets today! We got to say hi to Cathy right before we went to bed!

Here's our day:
